After an overnight passage, enhanced by an intense electrical storm, we finally made it from Utila, Honduras to Livingston, Guatemala. The pyrotechniques were like nothing we've seen before - made for an interesting crossing! But we did catch a tasty mahi mahi. Crossed the "bar" which is a 6ft. mud bar clearance to check into Guatemala (a whopping $400/U.S.) & then proceeded to go up the Rio Dulce which was a spectacular trip. Beautiful bird life & very tranquil settings. Found out that they filmed Tarzan here!!
