Anchored off the small little village of Yelapa on our way back to Banderas Bay. Delightful little community that you can only get to by boat.

 Matt & Joelle arrived first after a 2 day delay due to inclement weather in Vancouver.

 Day trips into old town, Puerto Vallerta. Even got to take in a drag show which was absolutely hysterical!

I went to my 1st ever Mexican rodeo - it was fantastico!! The young girls in particular were very impressive with their handling of the horses & all this was done by side saddle. It also included lassooing of bulls, bronco riding, & various other horse handling skills all to the sounds of a mariachi band!!

NUEVO VALLERTA

Birthday margarita at the marina; art lesson at Arnie & Alison's beautiful beach front home in Nuevo. Thanks to a fabulous teacher, I  was able to sign my name to my very first attempt at painting!

LORI & SCOTT'S RETREAT

After a 58 hour sail across the Sea of Cortez, we met up with good friends, Lori & Scott from Vancouver. They were renting a beautiful condo just south of Puerto Vallerta & were kind enough to ask us to join them for a couple of days. Great to get off the boat & experience a totally different area outside of P. V.

Left La Paz & sailed to Los Muertos (Bahia Suenos) where we met up with Gary & Liz Mallender from North Van. They were nearby visiting friends. Had a fabulous day with them!
