DAYTRIP TO SAYULITA
Needing a break from the 8 hour days we were putting in, we drove to the resort town of Sayulita for a much deserved break.

RETURN TO MEXICO
After 20 months of deferred maintenance on Appleseeds, we put our nose to the grindstone to get the boat back in sailing condition. It's difficult for a boat to sit that long without things going slightly awry. We arrived back on Nov. 17, 2021 & began work the next day.
She needed a new main sail which we brought down with us, new rigging, new canvas, the dinghy was totally deflated & not sure whether it would survive. The list goes on & on. After a week in the boatyard, we were extremely happy that the engine started - that was a main concern. Away we went to another boatyard to have the mast removed
