Trinidad is a perfectly preserved Spanish settlement, but in 1988, Unesco declared it a World Heritage Site & the tourists come by the busloads now. We found the street hustlers to be just a bit too annoying for our liking, but the historical element was enchanting.
It reminds me a lot of Colombia, except way fewer cars and way more donkeys!
