Wanted to do a day trip as part of "The Christmas Package" which included this great tour of these botanical gardens & waterfalls. It was about an hour from the Marina here in Chahue.
Over 200 varieties of exotic flowers & 80 different fruit trees spread over the ranch.
Beautiful way to cool off from a days hike into the ECO Reserve of Hagia Sofia. The Magdalena River runs through the property and provides the water for the waterfalls.
Armando could not be a more personable host. We were served 2 meals - a breakfast of all the fresh fruits that he grows on his land & then a lunch of chicken, fish and vegetable quesadillas after the ECO tour. We certainly did not go hungry on this day trip!
